What is LAPP?

Larimer Animal-People Partnership is a group of individuals joined by a desire to promote the human-animal bond. Because we care deeply about people and animals, we strive to encourage positive interactions between them. As an organization our goals are to:

• Explore the many facets of the human-animal bond

• Increase public awareness of the significance of human-animal bond by offering presentations and community service programs.

• Support and publicize current human-animal projects within the community through volunteer and networking efforts.

Founded in 1990, LAPP is a not-for-profit volunteer group affiliated with the Delta Society. Many of our members represent other animal-related or service organizations throughout the community. We utilize these connections to keep informed of human-animal bond projects through the region and to help coordinate service of different groups.
 

Delta Society Pet Partner Training Workshops

Larimer Animal People Partnership offers Delta Society Pet Partner Training Workshops occasionally throughout the year. 
 

Workshops are generally two 8-hour days of training.  Registration fees cover training, materials, food and beverages for both days.  If you would like more information regarding the workshop or evaluations, please see the Delta Society Website or email Lisa Sadar .
 

The Spring workshop is scheduled in Lafayette on March 6th and 7th. Download this form, fill it out, and mail with payment to address on form. The next evaluation date is March 21st. If you are renewing or reevaluating only (without need for the workshop), download this form, fill it out, and mail with payment to address on form.

If you would like to be notified of upcoming workshops or evaluations, please e-mail Louise Kuipers .  In your e-mail, ask Louise to put you on the wait list.  She will send you the registration/information form as soon as the workshop is scheduled.
